Bravo Swivel Shaft Cover Plate Installation Kit
This kit will provide you with all the parts necessary to cut a hole in the back of your gimbal housing and remove the swivel shaft. This kit comes with a pre-drilled buffed stainless steel plate and gasket and all necessary hardware. A recommended optional tool kit, P/N 528-1020 is available for easier dis-assembly and re-installation for the swivel shaft. This kit will only work on Bravo 1, Bravo 2, Bravo 3, and Alpha 1 Gen 2.

Bravo 1 Extractor Bushing A
Extractor bushing is made from
alloy material, heat treated to a Rockwell Hardness of 48-52 RC. This
bushing surpasses OEM quality by far. It has the same 5/8-18 thread as the
OEM, which enables you to use your existing threaded knockout
rod. Replaces OEM #91-89867T.
Bravo 1 Extractor Bushing B
This extractor bushing is also made of
alloy steel and heat treated. The unique feature
of this bushing is that it will help contain the edge of the race when extracting.
Which means almost every lower shell vertical shaft bearing can be removed without
the bearing cage breaking. This bushing should be used with extractor "A" bushing for
the best performance.
Bravo 1 Housing Tool Bushing
This is the insert which fits into
the bearing of the housing tool. It is also alloy steel and hardened and will
never wear out in the application for which it is used. This part fits into JR's part #1004.
Bravo 1 Housing Tool With Bearing
This tool replaces OEM
#9163638T. This unique tool is made of alloy steel and heat treated as are all of
JR's tools. It is longer than OEM which enables you to turn threaded rod
nut 360° without running into lower case studs. The bearing installed in this
tool makes installation a breeze with no pressure. This tool is a must!
Bravo 1 Install Bushing C
This installation bushing is also made
of alloy steel heat treated to 48-51 RC. Unlike the OEM install bushing this
install bushing has a larger surface on the roller bearings when installing which
creates the bearing to install more evenly. This bushing can be used with OEM
5/8-18 threaded rod if you use JR's threaded rod nut part #1018.
Bravo 1 Lower Pressure Test Tool
This unique tool also made only by JR Marine enables you to test lower Bravo 1 housing for leaks due to cracks
or fractures in the aluminum or leaky seals after assembly. A unique way to test PSI without bolting upper and lower together. Also
included in this kit is a special locating ring with seals pressed
internally to seal vertical shaft. A must for the rebuilding shops!
