4" Hi-Performance Silencer For Water Injected Headers

These high performance silencers feature large stainless packed louvered design cores for maximum performance through a muffler system They are ideal for blown or high compression engines.

They are 10-1/2" long and slip in a 4" header collector Best suited for higher horsepower applications.  Sold in pairs.

This hose allows you to make only very slight bends due to its corrugated design used in extreme-duty applications. It has a reinforcing wire threaded through the wall to increase strength.

4" Internal Butterfly Style Rubber Replacement Exhaust Flapper

These original equipment style rubber flaps are designed to replace missing or burned out flaps. They can also be easily retro-fitted to tips that were not originally equipped with flaps. Note: Flaps are recommended in all wet exhaust systems. Sold each.

These kits include a replacement flap and flange. 1-1/4" center to center on bolt holes, 3-7/16" wide, 4" tall.

4" Silent Seal Easy Service Exhaust Flapper Assembly (Each)

At last an answer to eliminating the annoying clanking and banging caused by old design stainless anti-burn exhaust flaps. It seems the many complaints of knocking engine noises and fears caused by the sounds of anti-burn flaps have created the demand to develop and cure this problem once and for all. The all new "Silent Seal" exhaust flap with its special high temp burn resistant rubber compounded exhaust flap and stainless steel cage design provide the perfect answer. This new flap design provides a superior seal and quiet operation. These flaps can easily be retrofitted to earlier style tips with just minor brazing or welding of the flap cage to your exhaust tip. Flap is 3.850" OD with 1" center to center bolt mounting holes.

The construction of these race inspired all stainless steel helms feature an adjustable slip collar to accommodate different dash thicknesses while providing the ultimate in finished appearance.  These steering posts bolt directly to a Char-Lynn hydraulic helm.  Available in a dual steering wheel bolt pattern (Momo or Dino) or a conventional 3-bolt pattern.  Length is from the dash to the steering wheel mounting flange based on a 1" thick dash. Center steering wheel cover sold separately.

4" Straight Cut Part-Time Transom Mounted Silencers

These silencers are 100% stainless steel and are perfect for both stock and slightly modified engines There are no moving parts and they come in a brilliant polished finish These silencers are called part-time because by simply removing one bolt per tip you can remove the slip-in silencers and have straight through exhaust.  Approximately an 8 to 10 decibel reduction is achieved with these silencers installed.

These tips are 8-3/4" long overall, extending out 3-3/4 inches past the transom ring on the outside and 5" on the inside.

4" XPM525 Performance Clamp-on Mufflers

Hardin Marine has just introduced their latest performance mufflers, the XPM525. These new silencers address the J-2005 SAE test that is now the standard in many states including California. In a recent independent test, these silencers showed a 12.2-decibel noise reduction at idle speed when mounted on the Mercury 525 engine package. This brought the test boat down to 88db passing the stringent California noise ordinance enacted this year. When installed on a test boat equipped with the 496 engine package, the mufflers brought it down to 88db.

The XPM525’s are constructed entirely from 316L stainless steel in order to provide the maximum corrosion resistance available in saltwater applications. These mufflers do not have any moving parts or packing to wear out. The significant sound reduction is accomplished with a 5-inch 2-phase expansion chamber in conjunction with a center sound wave baffle. The unique down-turned design helps to keep spray and carbon residue from accumulating on the boats transom. Heavy-duty external exhaust flappers are included to prevent any chance of water ingestion through the exhaust system.

Installation is simple. The XPM525 muffler system is designed to clamp onto any 4” O.D. tailpipe or exhaust tip using an integral stainless band clamp and a 1/8” set screw for added security. The mufflers are 12-1/2” in overall length.

The meticulous hand polished finish bring these mufflers to a show quality shine making them a beautiful addition to any boat while maintaining their necessary functionality. Sold in pairs.
