These full time in-line silencers are perfect for almost any application. They simply splice into your existing exhaust hose without any additional modifications. Their 100% stainless steel construction makes them a perfect replacement for fiberglass-style mufflers This model accepts a 4" hose connection and is 5" long. Sold in pairs. These silencers are rated up to 425HP without any HP loss. Decibel drops of 8 to 10 are commonly seen.

I have owned a 1990 201 Four Winns Liberator with a 350 Chevrolet King Cobra for about 20 years. This boat has dual wet exhaust that exit near the water at the outer edge of the transom. It has always been way to loud. Not only that; it was a harsh sound. I found Hardin Marine's full time inline silencers and decided that I would try a pair because they were so inexpensive. I wasn't expecting much in the way of results as they aren't very large. These "mufflers" came in and I was pleased with the construction quality. They also were easy to install. I took the boat out last Saturday with my son and we were amazed at the difference they made in the way the boat sounded. I would say that they are about 15% quieter; but, the best part is that the harshness of sound of the exhaust is gone. The boat really has a nice sound now. Much like a very expensive exhaust system on a Mustang GT. Just sitting in neutral and reving it up sounds great. Also, there wasn't any loss in performance.
