Extra Long Snout Input Shaft (7.90″ and 8.40″ Snout) [#4017] This X-Long 1-1/4″ x 48 Spline Snout Shaft is crafted out of 4340 heat treated steel. It is used in The Blower Shop's 7.90″-8.40″ length snouts. It incorporates a 2.0″ dia. register with 3/8-24 Threads on a 2.790″ Bolt Circle.

The snout housing is crafted from aircraft billet aluminum and the main shaft is made from 4340 heat treated steel. The 1-1/4″ x 48 spline of the main shaft connects to the blower gear coupler bolted to the face of the blower gear. Designed to fit many different applications, TBS snouts come in sizes from 3.90″ to 8.4″. This is a replacement Shaft and Coupler for a Weiand or B&M Supercharger. It was the standard shaft for the SBC 142/144 long nose Supercharger package as well as the 177 BBC long nose and Merc 525 (keyed pulley) Supercharger package. This shaft has an OAL of 9.900″ and is designed for an 8 15/16″ – 9 1/16″ shout housing.
