Closed Cooling System

This closed cooling Front Mount Half system kit fits Mercruiser - 4.3 L | 5.0 L | 5.7 L - engines from the years 2002 | 2003 | 2004 | 2005 | 2006 | 2007. This cooling system kit cools the block only.

NOTE: Many Factory ECM (Electronic Control Modules) are programmed for a raw water system. The addition of a fresh water (closed cooling) system results in an engine running at a proper higher temperature. However there is a 50/50 chance your ECM is not programmed to accept a closed cooling system your engine and could sense a false signal and alarm to the warning system. Moving the coolant sensor to the heat exchanger may alleviate this. Otherwise the ECM will need to be replaced or reprogrammed. In this case this information is available based on your engines serial number and is ONLY available from Mercury Marine at 920-929-5040.
