These switches are the ultimate in safety design.  The snap off cap willrelease in a full 360-degree circle.  This switch is recognized by allmajor boat racing associations.  The switch utilizes a spring-loaded safetybutton that will immediately close the circuit when the cap comes off. This is a normally closed switch which will apply ground to kill a magneto when the cap is pulled.
