Triple Engine Rams Horn Transom Pick-Up
 The
"NEW" Rams Horn adjustable water pick up was designed to solve the needs of one
of Americas premier offshore V-bottom boat manufactures. The need arose from an
attempt to set a new speed record with one of there latest boats. They
turned to Hardin Marine to design and build the water pick-up that would solve
their cooling problems by building the worlds ultimate water pick-up. The
pick-up needed to be adjustable to tune the engine water flow needs by
reducing the amount of parasitic water drag allowing for greater speed, and
that is exactly what the Rams Horn speed flow pick-up does. By using the very
best 316L stainless material each of the pickups is then assembled using true
mandrel bent 2" tubes allowing for virtually unrestricted water flow directly
to the boats sea strainer. Each individual inlet can be adjusted by loosening a
single bolt and raising or lowering the inlet scoop and then simply
re-tightening the clamp. This is by far the very best v-bottom water pick-up
